Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Magnet E-Store & E-Commerce Platform. By accessing and using our website, services, and products, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.


1. Order Processing & Delivery

1.1. Products are typically delivered within 7-11 days from the date of flight, which is usually scheduled for every Monday. 1.2. Customers are notified of the expected delivery timeline upon order confirmation. 1.3. Products can be collected free of charge from our offices at Club Chambers, Cnr Nelson Mandela & 3rd, Harare. 1.4. For customers outside Harare, we offer a courier delivery service starting from $5. Home delivery is available upon request for a fee.


2. Payment Policy

2.1. Full payment is required before the product is collected. 2.2. We accept various payment methods, including online payments, bank transfers, and mobile money services.


3. Returns & Exchanges Policy

3.1. Returns & Exchanges

  • Products can only be returned within 30 days from the date of collection or delivery.

  • Products can be returned free of charge within the first 14 days if they are defective.

  • From day 14 to day 28, products can still be returned, but a $10 transportation fee will apply.

  • From day 28 up to 6 months, brand new products are covered under warranty for repairs or maintenance only, with no returns or replacements accepted. Renewed products have a 30 day warranty which runs concurrently with the 30 day returns.

3.2. Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are permitted only for defective products.

  • Exchanges cannot be made due to issues related to brand preference, phone model, or product limitations inherent to the manufacturer.

  • Returned products will be inspected upon receipt. Only those found to be defective due to manufacturing faults and not due to user damage will be eligible for exchange.

  • Returns related to battery performance are subject to assessment before approval for exchange.

  • Products that are damaged by the user, mishandled, or tampered with are not eligible for return or exchange.

3.3. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are not available. Customers are only eligible for product exchanges through our return process. If by any means our team decides to refund a customer, processing the refund can take 6-10 working days and the refund may be refunded using the same payment method used for the purchase.

  • Exchange requests are processed within 7-11 days from the date of our next flight.

    Products not collected or items returned that fall outside our warranty terms will incur a storage fee of $3 per day until the date of collection. Should the accumulated storage fees exceed the total value of the product, Magnet reserves the right to sell the item to recover incurred costs.

3.4. Return Conditions

  • The product must be returned in its original condition, including all accessories and packaging.

  • Customers must provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) from Magnet E-Store.

  • Any missing accessories or packaging may result in the return request being denied.


4. Product Warranty

4.1. All brand new products come with a warranty of up to 6 months, covering repairs and maintenance only. Warranty for renewed products is only for 30 days.  4.2. Warranty does not cover damages resulting from:

  • Improper use or mishandling.

  • Unauthorized repairs or modifications.

  • Water or physical damage. 4.3. If a product is eligible for warranty service, customers may bring it to our office for assistance.

Product Colour & Availability Policy

1. Product Colour Variations
While we aim to deliver the exact colour selected by the customer, certain colours may be unavailable due to supplier stock limitations and availability at the time of fulfilment. For a specific color choice our freight time will change from 7-11 days to 13-18 days

2. Colour Substitutions
If the exact chosen colour is unavailable, Magnet E-Store may provide an alternative colour of the same model and specifications. We will always attempt to notify the customer before substituting.

3. Customer Notification
Where possible, our team will contact the customer to confirm colour alternatives.
If the customer cannot be reached within a reasonable time, we may proceed with a suitable substitution unless the customer has explicitly requested “no substitutions”.

4. Warranty and Eligibility for Replacement
Any colour substitution does not affect warranty, functionality, or device condition.
However, if a colour substitution is made without prior notification to the customer, the customer is eligible for a free replacement in their preferred colour once available.

5. Returns Based on Colour
Returns based solely on colour differences may not be accepted if:

  • The customer was notified before fulfilment, or

  • They accepted the substituted colour at the time of delivery.


5. User Responsibilities

5.1. Customers must ensure that all details provided during purchase (including shipping address and contact information) are accurate. 5.2. The customer agrees to inspect the product upon delivery or collection and report any visible defects within 24 hours. Any technical defects are to be reported within 14 days.  5.3. It is the responsibility of the customer to store and handle the product properly to avoid voiding the warranty.


6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Magnet E-Store is not liable for:

  • Delays in shipping and customs due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control which include but are not limited to wars, embargos, pandemics etc

  • Issues and delays arising from third-party couriers or delivery services.

  • Manufacturer defects beyond the scope of our exchange policy. 3.2. Our liability is strictly limited to the terms outlined in this agreement.

    We reserve the full right to refund a customer in the event that there in a misunderstanding pertaining to the limitation of liability


7. Privacy & Data Protection

7.1. We respect your privacy and take data security seriously. 7.2. Personal information collected during purchases is used solely for order processing, shipping, and customer support. 7.3. We do not share customer information with third parties, except as required for order fulfillment or by law.


8. Layby Terms

8.1. Customers may purchase selected products through our layby plan, allowing payments over a maximum period of 5 months with no minimum deposit. Products are prepared for delivery or collection once 90% of the total price has been paid, with the remaining balance due before release. For the full Layby Terms and Conditions, please click here


9. Modification of Terms

9.1. Magnet E-Store reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. 8.2. Customers are encouraged to review this page periodically to stay informed of any changes.

FAQs

My order hasn't arrived yet. Where is it?

Product freight time differs depending on the product. This time is specified in the product description. Delays can also arise from ZIMRA customs clearance and complications during the freight process

Do you deliver on public holidays?

Yes. Deliveries can be conducted throughout the whole year except on weekends

How much is the deposit

It varies across different products. Usually full payment is required but certain promotions make it possible for an order to be processed with as little as 50% deposit.

Do I need to be there to sign for delivery?

Yes. The remaining balance is also required on collection or delivery
